Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy Associated with Moderate Aortic Stenosis in Symptomatic 75-Year-Old Female, A Case Report

A 72-year-old female was found to have symptomatic hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy associated with significant aortic stenosis. She severe left ventricular outflow tract obstruction, asymmetric septal hypertrophy, systolic anterior motion of the mitral valve leaflet, and regurgitation. also moderate stenosis that made obstruction even worse which patient progressively not responding medical therapy. eventually underwent cardiac surgery in form myomectomy bioprosthetic replacement (tissue AVR) a size 23 tissue valve, root enlargement bovine pericardial patch. is currently stable on optimal therapy, feels much better cardiac-wise quality life.
